| Next Meeting: Monday, April 5, 2004 7:00pm at the Tulsa Garden Center, 2435 S. Peoria Ave. Program: Air Layering with Norman Summers. The meeting will be held in the basement. At the April meeting we will have a sign up sheets for trees and volunteers for the Spring show. The weekend of April 15 and 16, the Garden Center will be presenting it's annual Garden Mart. Garden Mart is a benefit plant sale for the affiliated clubs. The affiliated clubs have been asked to design a photo opportunity board which represents the clubs interest. Each club will design a cut out scene for the guest to put their head through and take a picture. The Bonsai club is looking for volunteers to work on the cut out. One of the ideas for the cut out is to have a bonsai between a boy and girl dressed in kimonos. Several members placed their order for shirts from the new company with several different colors. The club will still have blue T-shirts with the logo on them. The soil was made and sold, several members enjoyed getting dirty while making the soil. Show and Tell: Tom Howard brought a Juniper in a nice mica pot, and Pat Coen had several nice black stones. The club gets a discount when ordering bonsai supplies from Monastery, but we have a minimum of $250.00. If you would like to add to the order to make the minimum please contact Frank Kohn. | Help! Blaine Imel has misplaced a Black Pine over a rock at one of the meetings. If anyone has any information on what happened to this Bonsai, please contact him.
